The S&P 500 and the Russell 2000 Small Cap index closed Friday at new All Time Highs (3582 and 1744 respectively). Equities rose on news that a COVID19 vaccine release may be imminent. The tech-heavy Nasdaq-100 was the only index to finish in the red (down 1%). Analysts worry that “Stay at Home” stocks like Netflix, Amazon and Zoom, which feature prominently on the Nasdaq, will suffer once a COVID19 vaccine enables people to get out and about again.
